The fact that other bars have later operation hours is simple discrimination and the fact that there are homes near is the same for every bar in the Southbay.

I've been a member of the 900 club for over 3 years, and I was a frequent guest long before that. I've lived in the Southbay for almost 18 years and the 900 Club is a fabric of this beach community. All we are asking for is a fair playing field for all bars and restaurants in MB. The clubs request for an extra hours a week is pretty reasonable.

I’ve lived in Manhattan Beach for 18 years, vote here and have 3 kids growing up through the MB public schools. I’d like to see 900 club on par with the other bars and restaurants in MB. Thank you!

I've been a Manhattan Beach resident since 1993 and have been a member of the 900 Club for 15 years. There is no reason that the 900 Club shouldn't be afforded the same operating hours (until 1am) on Thursdays as any other establishment in town.

My wife Jan and I have been members for over 10 years, we love the 900 Club and all that they do for the community and for the social environment they have created. There is no reason they should be restricted in anyway to less hours than any other establishment in the area. We vote in the city, We support they city, and we love Manhattan Beach, asking for one more hour a week seems incredibly reasonable.

I have been a member of the 900 club for 10 years, and I was a frequent guest long before that. I moved to Manhattan Beach in 1984, and I have been practicing as an attorney for 30 years. The club is a fine venue for entertaining clients, as it is a well monitored and controlled environment. This is due, in part, to the fact that the club's members of the 900 Club are generally an older, more established and more responsible group as compared to patrons of other establishments (such as Ercoles and Shellback), which are permitted to say open much later. As such, it is only fair and appropriate that club's hours be extended. The club's request for just one more hour on Thursday nights is a pretty modest "ask" under the circumstances.

900 Club absolutely deserves to have the same operating rights as other establishments in the area. One more hour is more than fair and easy to facilitate for a long standing MB establishment.

900 has been in business for 20 years. I have lived in the South Bay for 25 years and been a 900 member for 13 years. I vote in Manhattan Beach. We are asking for fair playing field for all Bars & Restaurants in Manhattan Beach by allowing 900 to stay open for an additional hour on Thursdays. Thank you.

There is no reason 900 club should be forced to close earlier than any other restaurant.
Please give them the extra hour.

Only fair to give 900 the same hours as the other restaurants on town. One hour per week seems like a very reasonable request to me.

The 900 club has been part of this community for over 20 years. My father used to frequent this location when I was growing up, now I am a member. With ever increasing rent costs in Manhattan Beach, it only seems right that the smaller establishments should be given every opportunity to stay competitive with the large corporations. This extra hour would be a big help towards that goal.

The 900 Club is an institution in Manhattan Beach for over 20 years that covers our entire demographic: from singles to couples to young families and ultimately adult families and empty nesters. Whether you at 5 yrs old or 25 or 75, you are at home away from home in this community gathering place. It deserves to be treated fairly.

It’s only one extra hour one day of the week totally 52 hours over the course of the year. We need the 900 Club. It’s good for the community.

900 is an integral part of this small community and consistently gives back charitably to local organizations. I'm on the Board of Walk With Sally, and their support has been consistent!
I have been a member of 900 for about 8 years and going there as long as it's been open... over 20 years! And I've lived in the South Bay for about 24 years. I feel like 900 deserves to be treated fairly as the rest of the establishments in downtown Manhattan Beach. We're only asking for 1 additional hour/ week!
Please grant us an extension to the Thursday night business hours!

I am 3rd generation Manhattan Beach and my family has been around this amazing city for a long time. I am in FULL support of extending the 900 Club hours! No reason why they should have less hours of business then other restaurants. I vote in this city, love this city and 900 Club is a great establishment that is only asking for 1 more hour a week. No BRAINER.

I am in support of extending the 900 Clubs hours. I've lived in Manhattan Beach for 40 years and have lived a few blocks away for the last 10 years. The 900 has been in business for 20 years and is a fabric of our community and is only asking for 52 hours in one year. I think the city should create and maintain fair playing field for all businesses, including bars and restaurants and for the 900 Club employees.

One of the few businesses in Manhattan Beach that has been paying taxes and providing employment opportunities for over 20yrs. At the very least they should be treated the same as everyone else.
