900 is a community place that friends and families have enjoyed together for years. It's a sense of community for all of South Bay that stays consistent as the town changes around us. Please consider allowing us to hang out with each other for a little while longer. Thank you.

I have lived in Manhattan Beach for 55 years, and have seen many establishments come and go at the 900 Manhattan Avenue site. As a proud member of the 900 Club since the begining, I have enjoy many of my, and my friends, life milestones at The 900 Club including 21st, 40th and 50th birthday parties, several 25 year marriage anniversary events, and a few baptism and first communion celebrations. Dave and "the girls" at the club are always gracious hosts, and any Friday or Saturday night feels more like a reunion of friends and family than a night at a club. This atmosphere should be allowed to stay open other hour or two, the same as my other old haunts, Ercoles and Shellback.

The 900 Club is an integral part of the Manhattan Beach community. It’s a place where people can enjoy, unwind, and connect. There really is no place like it, and I firmly believe they should be allowed to foster this community for another hour.

I've been a member for over 14 years, and cherish 900 for being a calm place for adults to get together for dinner or a drink, versus the madhouse of college and heavy drinkers the surrounding area gets.

900 Club is a wonderful establishment that has been in business for decades and enables members of the community to congregate and enjoy each other’s company. The establishment should be treated the same as the other bars in town and deserves equal playing ground.

I have been born and raised in Manhattan Beach and a member of the 900 Club for years. Dave is so considerate of his members and has the same passion for him employees and the city. He should be given the same consideration as other establishments in the city.

900 caters almost exclusively to residents of Manhattan Beach, unlike other bars in town. How is it that a place made for the voting residents of Manhattan Beach is treated as less than bars that bring in younger, rowdier guests from out of town?

I have been a resident of Manhattan Beach for 15 plus years and 900 club member for a few years. 900 Club should at a minimum be allowed the same operating hours as other establishments. It really should be 2am for Thursday - Sunday for all local bars/clubs/lounges.

I have been a resident of downtown Manhattan Beach since 1993 and this establishment has been a great community member and fantastic family spot for years. I hope consideration will be given to the applicant and the additional hour granted.

I’ve been a resident here for over 24 years. This is a great restaurant/bar and the employees need the extra hours/income to keep up with the high cost of living.

900 Club should not be competitively or commercially discriminated against relative to other establishments, especially when the "ask" in this instance is a relatively modest 52 hours per year to bring the hours of operation in-line with other city operators.

I've been a Manhattan Beach resident and member of the 900 Club since 2007. There is no reason that the 900 Club shouldn't be afforded the same operating hours (until 1am) on Thursdays as any other establishment in town. Discriminating against an integral community establishment like 900 is simply unfair.
