Save the camp. Stop developers. Expensive housing does not equal prosperity.

Kids are losing these opportunities at an astonishing pace!! They need an opportunity to get away from the computers and learn to enjoy the outdoors!!

Went there as a kid and a leader with my daughters. Very sad to see it end.

Winding River will always hold a special place in my heart and in the hearts of so many girls (and brothers) who attended for so many years.

Girls need the outdoors. They get more opportunities at a Girl Scout csmp then they usually do with their families. They also learn independence as well as get a new family with all their fellow sisters in Girl Scouts. This opportunity should not be taken away from our youth. It helps them grow as a person. I have a lot of great memories from my camp days and I continue that tradition with girls in my area. Please let rhis girls thrive at their camp.....

I was a Girl Scout in the 60's and believe my experiences at camp and various other scounting activities help to shape the person I am today.
