Disappointed in the decision, high school girls are bummed - this camp was something to look forward each year. Now they won't have the ceremony they look for as a senior.

I loved going to this camp it is warm and inviting. The love we share and the bonds you make can’t not be expressed in words. I come clear from Arizona just to be at this wonderful place. Please let us come one more time to be together and to share one last memory of this beautiful place the girls beautiful smiles and let this camp hear for the last time the laughter and love shared by all. Please reconsider for the love of hundreds of girls including myself.

The sudden news of GSWISE selling Camp Winding River after a year in which camp was cancelled, was pouring salt in an open wound. We would all love to have one last year at CWR!

I have loved being a Girl Scout from age 5-12, and continued with Camp Winding River as a PA from age 13-17. At age 31 now, I decided I would be able to take a week vacation from work to go back to Camp Winding River in summer in 2020 as a Volunteer Unit Leader and was incredibly sad that camp could not happen the year I was coming back! I want to volunteer next year and would love for the camp to be open at least for one more summer in 2021! Thank you!!

Wait to sell and give me a chance to win the lottery and buy camp winding river for future use. If I don't win the lottery it will give us all a year to say goodbye.
