Such a wonderful camp. It would be a shame for Girl Scouts not to have the opportunity to attend.

So sad that future Girl Scouts will not be able to enjoy this experience. Spent many weeks of vacation over the years just to be able to come to camp with my girls, then to lead other girls, and to finally run a station. Save the camp!

Camo wi song River allowed my daughter, she has Aspergers, to calm her nerves stay liaise longer than 1hour, get into a body of water to swim, sleep outdoors and so much more. So many first for her and even with her high anxieties she was able to overcome thanks to many volunteers.

My daughter and our family have strong ties to CPH! We were devastated to hear of the selling of this camp. My daughter is losing her life guarding job that she absolutely loved! She was so disappointed that camp was cancelled this summer due to Covid, and is so upset about the decision by the board to sell it. So many people come through this camp. It is completely booked all summer. What a shame. We should be doing everything to salvage this non for profits that are all about GOODNESS, HAPPINESS, LOVE IN A TIME WHERE WE SEE SO LITTLE OF IT.

Where else can girls enjoy nature and just have fun away from the city? My daughter loved to attend with her friends despite her disability.

Some of my best summers were spent at camp. I may not have been there the last few years but when I was I enjoyed it. All the friends I have made and all the memories I made there with my girl scout troops overnight there as well.

I was so sad to hear they were going to sell Camp Winding River. If it hadn't been for Vovid, this would have been my 20th year volunteering there.

Would be nice to “go out” knowing that it would be the last year. Amanda,Sam and I have all been at camp every year since 2006. It’s literally been the only consistent family activity we’ve had throughout the years. Even Dave has volunteered. Having COVID steal 2020 was a shame and I don’t want that to be my last memory.
