This camp is wonderful and it should be allowed at least one more year. I grew up at Winding River as did my sister, it was a great experience that cannot be matched.

I attended camp winding river as a child. I have great memories there and it breaks my heart to think my girls won't get their chance to go there

This is a magical place that my daughter spent 13 years every summer. I think girls should get to experience one more year

Fondest memories for me as Seahorse the nature lady for more than a decade. While times change and camp may need to be revised, girls need more of this, not less. This property is a gem.

So sad. Spent 15 years at camp winding river from day camp, to troop camping as well as activities run by GS staff. So much will be lost with the sale of this property!

Please don't close nor sell this camp. It provides vital experiences in outdoor education to the girls/leaders/counselors involved. Please reconsider the sale of these camps.

Take the business a left out of what girls want to do with their summer. Not all girls want to go to or thrive in large camps. Now that Racine and Kenosha have next to nowhere to go for camp. We don’t “fit in” at CAC.
