I have never thought the name ‘Redskins’ as a mascot had any derogatory connotations to it.

It’s not just us who are proud to be Redskins. The Indians are proud we all are as well. I’m with the Indians! I’m with the Union Redskins.

As a part Native American myself, this has got to stop and I hope you stop it here. I am in no way offended by the use of names or symbols that refer to my heritage. I hope you keep this symbol of Native Americans part of your school.
