I wish this shocked me but as a current black student of Allegheny, I can’t say i’ve ever felt protected or valued! I think many of the higher ups engage in racist activities & are seldom punished for it. Allegheny has not been safe or exciting for me. I struggle here mentally for this exact reason. Allegheny aims to be inclusive but is no place for POC but far less for women POC.
