Class of 1996. This is exactly the kind of focus on systemic issues that is imperative for successful race reform. Go gators!!!

I'm very disappointed by the lackluster performative comments. Stand up for what's right and act on it.
Delta Tau Delta says that "Integrity is essential. Accountability is fundamental to all commitments." and "Brotherhood sustains us." Try living up to their standards and support your Black students, alumni, and the community.

Class of 1980. The statement referenced in this petition missed the mark. People and institutions are rallying to stand down racism and extremism. Step out front with passion, purpose and determination!

As a an Allegheny alum and as a black man I expect and deserve a more substanive and supportive stance regarding the fight for racial equality. Allegheny College and schools like it must pave the path for equality as educational institutions. Wholehearted and unequivocal support for the "black lives matter" movement is not only what is wanted in the academic setting but is also what is mandatory in the educating of young minds. As this is one of the most important ways to guarantee definitive and lasting change in this country.
