It’s a shame that Dr. Cap’s recommendation in 2020 to invest in proper and equivalent technology in all the classrooms wasn’t put in place. Kids will miss a lot of teaching when isolating and quarantining. I am not suggesting teachers should do both in person and online teaching, but just allowing students who are quarantining and isolating to tune into the classroom would have helped in this circumstance.
Also, the idea that sending kids to school with so many substitutes rather than allowing teachers who need to isolate and quarantine but are still capable of offering an online option is short sighted. Just because kids are in school doesn’t mean learning is happening.

Due to raising cases of Omicron and there is no booster shots available under 16 yr old kids , we are scared to send my kid to school. Please try to keep virtual classes. Thank you.

This new Omicron is very contagious. It is imperative and prudent for Charter School Board and Administration to consider to hold virtual learning for all students. I want my grandchildren to be protected from this contagious variant which is spreading like wild fire.
