Our U.S.A. Olympic Athletes are in need of financial assistance so that they may continue to represent the U.S.A. in the Olympic games.
The daily life of an Olympic Athlete is demanding, both mentally and physically. Many athletes are working part-time jobs to make ends meet. Others are sharing housing, food, and are dependent on friends and family for support.
Corporate and sponsor donations are at an all time low with our current economy. Our athletes should be focused on what they do well....Not chasing businesses and holding fundraisers to obtain funds or donations. As an American and a brother of a current Olympian, I'm ashamed of the way these athletes are living....So I've decided to do something about it.
By signing our petition below we are asking members in Congress to draft legislation to financially support our Olympic Athletes and include this as a Congressional Budget Item.
Please sign and show your support. Pass the word for us and have friends and family sign too. Our intention is to show select members of the U.S. Congress this petition at a future date.

The massive surge of interest proves that people are finally waking up to the pathetic way our athletes are being treated. Congress needs to stop ignoring this disgrace and start acting now.

YES. They give up everything for the gold. They deserve better than this.
These guys work so hard training all year round. It is embarrassing they can barely afford rent while representing the country. Help them out!!
