As Olivia's grandma I can not say enough good things about her. She is a child who always has to be busy. She wants jobs to do every minute that she is at my house. She will clean out the fridge or anything that you can give her to do. She has a wonderful work ethic. After school she goes straight to her brailler and starts her homework. She loves playing with her brother. She also has a great imagination! A well rounded child who needs to be challenged!

I so hope your daughter gets to attend her base school. It's shameful and narrow minded to label children. I would think the school system would appreciate a parent's request given we know our children best! Good luck!

A teacher focuses on the whole child and their abilities. My son has autism with MANY NEEDS. He is included in his base school and mainstreamed with a very individualized program. I hope all children are given a chance. We all live in the same world.

Please allow Olivia to attend her base school as this will challenge her academically and help her to grow socially. The VI school assignment is not in her best interest.
