Best of luck!! I too hate labels as they tend to prevent our kids access to a less restrictive school environment.

Every child deserves to attend their base school, and be able to take part in the school and social opportunities which each child in the school district is offered. "Convenience" for the school district is not best for the students.

The I in IEP stands for Individual. Please consider Olivia's individual needs and allow her to attend her base school which is clearly the better option for her as outlined by her caring and knowledgeable parents.

When will it stop. Please start a special investigation of all iep that are not being implemented for one reason or another. Children are our future regardless of their disabilities.

Requesting WCPSS to look at each individual students needs and develop learning plans, IEPs, etc and distance those with special needs from the rest of the community.

It is unfortunate that the same opportunities are not offered to her. But someone who does not.speak our language has more entitlement than her! Ridiculous..

Every child deserves the fullest education they can obtain. My daughter had multiple learning disabilities, was mainstreamed into her local school with her friends and sports teams and graduated with her classmates. The support of those classmates was one of the decicing factors in her success.
