My 2010 JKU uses 1.5 quarts every 1k miles and was told this is normal and acceptable. by Chrysler standards. sounds like a lot of BS to me.

I purchased a 2010 Jeep Wrangler rubicon unlimited as my daily driver, had the dealer install about 15-20k of accessories from AEV as they were a licensed dealer... I used only premium synthetic oil... 15k miles and oil is vanishing about a quart every 600 miles at 8.00 a quart the I went to the dealer, was told hat is what these do. Oil consumption is normal. I was told to switch to conventional "cheap" oil by the service manager. I'm at 85k now, I am losing about a quart of the conventional oil every 500 or so miles. I wish I would have been informed that these vehicles have a disappearing oil problem while the dealer sold me a 75k jeep... I would have bought something else!!!

2010 has always burned oil. It has always said the oil sending unit is bad they want $125 for the part and to keep the car for 3days. Radio never keeps time. Key fob stopped working I replaced the battery and still nothing so the alarm goes off when I unlock it. Price of a key $165. death wobble on the e-way if I hit a bump a certain way. Back hatch window has always leaked to the point the jack is rusty. However at 150k she starts and runs as good as new! The dealer never takes responsibility I was t

I have an 07 wrangler unlimited, went to get the oil changed the other day, they said they pulled out only half a liter from the engine! Did some online research and this is more common than i was aware. If i new this in the beginning i would of never bought this Jeep. Chrysler needs to make this right!!

have an 08 wrangler x, uses 3-4 litres between changes, have to continually check the oil every few days, switched to synthetic; no change. Jeep/dodge have made a lemon engine, not their problem they say; to bad because they are a great vehicle

Bought my 08 used 3 months ago. Already discovered its burning 2qts every 1k. Warranty Co. claims it's normal wear n tear and will not cover it. Chrysler needs to step up and make this right !!!!!!!
