I have a 2009 Wrangler X, spun a connecting rod bearing at 34,000 miles due to the excessive oil consumption. Because I was the second owner Chrysler would not honor the life time powertrain warranty

Up until my JK Sahara had around 50k it never used more than 1/8 qt. between 3k oil changes. Then over night it started using 1.8 qts. in 3k miles. The no leaks were found, PVC was replaced, and eng comp. test revealed between 156-160 psi dry test. Forgot to try oil wet test. Also all plugs had good non-sooty condition.
