I Have a 2011 Jeep 4 door sport 3.8 L. It has 59000 miles and about quart and half in 2500 miles it used. So I started reading the forms and it seems like a real probelm.

2011 Wrangler uses 2 quarts of oil between oil changes. No leaks, now it's beginning to burn oil at less than 65K miles

2008 Wrangler - Only had 1 quart left running my engine. Use synthetic, and change my oil every 3-4k miles. This is second time this has happened. What's gong on?

I own a 2008 JK and the oil consumption has been getting worse and worse! Originally my jeep never burned oil, but as time went and miles started to rack up my jk started to burn more and more oil. Just checked it and it was over 4 QUARTS low! I demand Chrysler fix my jeep free of charge!

2010 Wrangler Unlimited First ~2k miles - does ok, after that burns ~0.5 qrts about every 500 miles, accelerating in consumption as it gets closer to the 6k mark (change oil).

Utterly ridiculous...in this day and age we should not have to go through this hassle!

my 2011 check oil light has come on twice between regular oil changes in less than a year and been well below safety line. Just took it in to get looked at and was told I need to be burning 1Q/500 miles for them to consider looking at it and since I'm "only" burning 1Q/1000miles there's nothing wrong...
