i had a 2003 wrangler x. power booster and master cylinder went out at 4000miles then again at 6000 miles. sued jeep and won. I now have a 2009 jeep rubicon only 32000 miles and they are saying I need a new engine because there was only 2 quarts in there when I took it in with a knocking sound. Warranty is now void because I do my own oil changes sometimes. They knew about the problem and didnt fix it. We need a class action suit started to get this fixed. Sued jeep once and won. Now its time we come together and do it again!!

Bought my 2011 Jeep Wrangler new. Change the oil every 3000 miles and every time I change its a quart low. No external leaks, no smell of burning oil. No idea where it's going.

I own a 2010 JKU 3.8L with just over 50,000 miles. Around the late 30,000 to early 40,000 mile mark my engine started burning oil between oil changes. I am definitely burning about a quart every 1,000 miles. I first noticed the problem when I changed my oil and could not refill 6 empty quart containers. It got worse ever since.

2010 jku with 95,000 and it is burning oil like crazy, for a vehicle to have such a rep why is this so common. I work way to hard to pay for my vehicle to get cheated on quality like this. Documented oil change every 3,000 miles

I OWN A 2011 WRANGLER AND IT BURNS 1-2 QTS EVERY THOUSAND MILES THIS IS NOT NORMAL HAVE OWNED 6 JEEPS AND TEY NEVER USED OIL, OF COURSE THEY WERE ALL 4.0 ENGINES. NOT HAPPY WITH THIS AT ALL I SPEND MORE IN OIL BETWEEN CHANGES THAN I DO FOR THE ACTUAL OIL CHANGE.

I am adding about a quart every thousand to 1200 miles. I have an 08 Wrangler Sahara with 61k. It's using about the same as my 99 suburban that has 330k.

I have a 2009 jeep wrangler unlimited which started burning 1-2 quarts every 1000 miles starting around 30000 miles. All services done by dealer. They say it is in tolerences. Totally unacceptable usage of oil.

I have a 2011 Jeep sahara and it is burning thru 2 quarts of synthetic oil or more every 2 months. Only driven 300 or so miles per month. I bought it pre-owned from dealer in June 2013. Obviously this is not acceptable. What damage is/has it done to engine?

Just discovered my 2010 Jeep has began consuming oil as well as many others. I don't drive it very much so it only has 40,000 miles. Losing this much oil within 1000 miles is completely unacceptable.
