2007 Unlimited Rubicon. Uses at least 1quart every 1000 miles. Been doing that every since it hit 45K miles. Was fine before that so don't know what happened. Always changed the oil regularly using full synthetic.

I owned a 2007 Jeep Wrangler Sahara that started losing a quart and a half every 1200-1500 miles. I traded it in for a new 2011 Jeep Wrangler 2011 Sahara with a better warranty thinking they had fixed the problem. Nope. Right around 36,000 the same thing happened to the new Jeep. I am PISSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a 2008 JKU Sahara at 54k miles and I have to add 1 qrt every 1,000 miles. I'm a huge jeep fan and have recommended them to friends and family. This has been a big let down. The dealership isn't helpful. From what I read its from missed placed piston rings. Either one or all six of the piston rings were installed upsides down which doesn't create a tight seal and causing blow by. PLEASE fix this!

My 2010 JK has about 52k on it, well maintained. It is also using about a quart of oil every 1000 miles, which is getting old. Seems like the oil usage just started when it reached the 51k mark.
