Earlier in the year Mr. Comstock promised that if there were enough interest for a garden club, we could use the science courtyard to create one.
Today, he tried to go back on that promise, saying that it will only attract more voles, and that it could not be done if it has not been done in the county before. There are plenty of natural ways to repel them from the garden. It has been done in 35 schools in the county. Michelle Obama even visited Hollin Meadows Elementary School’s garden.
He also wanted us to only fix up the school's senior courtyard, saying that he puts $5000 annually into it.
The point of the OHS Garden is to bring the school together to make a difference in our local community outside of OHS. We will donate the food to a charitable food bank called Food for Others.

What is the issue? Voles? I don't think so. Is it to limit student's involvement and diminish the wordload...possibly

This is honestly ridiculous. My younger brother goes to a school that has a thriving garden and there are absolutely no voles. Just tired of the constant excuses.
