I have been reading through the histories many of you shared about past games and the traditions that define our families every late November. It is clear that moving this date would be like stripping away a piece of our collective identity. I am currently organizing the best way to present your sentiments directly to the conference office so they understand this is about more than just a schedule change.

The momentum behind this effort has shifted from a personal hope into a genuine movement that the conference cannot ignore. Seeing so many of you defend the traditions that defined my own upbringing makes all the frustration feel worth it.

My family has been watching this together for 30 years. tradition is everything.

Nothing better than finishing the year with a bang. keep it where it belongs in late november.
The Game just feels wrong if it isnt the final week. Tradition matters and college football is losing its soul with all these changes.
It is not thanksgiving weekend without Ohio State vs Michigan to end the season. Leave it alone!

money is ruining the sport seriously. the big ten needs to listen to the fans for once instead of just chasing tv dollars.
