The schedules are out and they kept the tradition intact right where it belongs at the end of November. I am beyond relieved that we protected this rivalry from being messed with and I appreciate every one of you who joined me in this fight. Keep watching the scheduling updates …
This is a petition to keep the Ohio State University and the University of Michigan Football game as the last game of their regular season. As one of the greatest rivalries in all of sports THE GAME should not be tinkered with any more than necessary. Keeping the game scheduled as the last regular season game for both teams at least, does not gut the fundamental emotional appeal generated over nearly five generations. Sign this petition and contact friends who actually care about College Football tradition so they can sign, because we believe this issue is bigger than Big Ten football. We will find some way to get the results to the BigTen Commissioner.
I have been reading through the histories many of you shared about past games and the traditions that define our families every late November. It is clear that moving this date would be like stripping away a piece of our collective identity. I am currently organizing the best way to present your sentiments directly to the conference office so they understand this is about more than just a schedule change.

The momentum behind this effort has shifted from a personal hope into a genuine movement that the conference cannot ignore. Seeing so many of you defend the traditions that defined my own upbringing makes all the frustration feel worth it.

money is ruining the sport seriously. the big ten needs to listen to the fans for once instead of just chasing tv dollars.

The Game just feels wrong if it isnt the final week. Tradition matters and college football is losing its soul with all these changes.

It is not thanksgiving weekend without Ohio State vs Michigan to end the season. Leave it alone!
