Final supporters
John Offerdahl was a standout inside linebacker for the Phins from 1986-1993.
Drafted in the second round out of Western Michigan, he went to the ProBowl 5 times (1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, and 1990) .
He was chosen as the Old Spice/NFL Rookie of the Year award winner after the 86 campaign.
The teams may not have been great (they only went to the playoffs twice in that span), but he still was an anchor of that defense.
After his playing days, he started two restaurant chains, and has given back to his community.
For all of these reasons, we support Johnny O as a nominee to the Dolphins Ring of Honor!

Reading through all the stories you are sharing about watching Johnny O play. It confirms exactly why his place in the Ring of Honor is long overdue.

Johnny O was the heart of that defense for years. The man was a tackling machine. Long overdue.
he was the only reason to watch those games in the late 80s lol. great player and a great guy in the community.
