This could also be beneficial for the immersion kids that may not be academically ready for the middle school immersion classes (I hear they’re challenging even for native speakers), but want to continue learning Spanish.

Please support our efforts to promote bilingualism by making 6th grade Spanish available next year. Bilingualism in the US should become the norm for any person considered 'educated'.

Por favor! I am so committed to having my daughter learn my original language, Spanish, that I decided to take up the invitation to reach her kindergarten class at Linwood Howe. I truly believe in helping our kids be multilingual. Please give them a n opprtunity to continue learning in middle school. Gracias!

We fully support 6th grade Spanish class at CCMS for students who have been attending Spanish classes at Lin Howe and wish to continue improving their skills in middle school without interruption.

Please continue to offer Spanish to all students at CCMS, regardless of age or proficiency. This is a decision that would unfairly penalize students who were not able to be part of the language immersion elementary programs.
