Slowly, slowly and year on year Ulen are determinedly killing the essence of Bankso. Offering a season pass for a third of the season itself is ridiculous but to do this after the year-on-year increases for the same season pass is practically criminal! Any ski resort relies on it's seasonnaires who spread the word, actively promote through discussion and always publicise their experiences of Bansko, for years and years after their season finishes. I would prefer the message they send to be a positive one.
I have bought a season pass for several years, as the price for last years pass was released too late for me to change my travel plans.
Not this year.
I probably wont visit.
At all.
I'm not going to be alone with this decision.
Corporate greed or naivety? I'm not sure. But it'll ruin Bansko.

Ulen, don't be so greedy. I didn't buy a season pass last year because of the price increace. I won't be coming at all this season. .

I did not buy a season pass last year becuase of the price rise from the previos years. If this was a general reaction then this could be one reason why Ulen feel that the season pass is of little interest to people. As the author says the mountain and the social facilities are not being used by many many people because they will not buy a day pass for a lunchtime meet up but would have bought a season pass and used it to meet up with friends for luch etc. Ulen please rethink your attitude to you customers.
