Cnu needs to update the housing policy. Juniors should be allowed to live off campus if they wish.

If students could live off campus, it would not only provide more living opportunities for those continuing to live on campus, but could support the surrounding areas as well.

Even as a graduating senior I agree that this is a problem that needs to be addressed, and would be more than happy to help solve it.

Not very satisfied with the options housing has to offer because of this issue.

The lack of available on campus housing and the inability for students to live off campus has continued to create issues year after year for students trying to find somewhere to live.

I am without housing and am pissed I am told I can't go off campus though they can't provide me with the guaranteed housing I was told I would get when I got admitted to cnu

There is not enough on campus housing to hold all of the freshman, sophomores and juniors, especially with the growing rate of freshman acceptance. Furthermore, a number of students suffer from different conditions that require a quiet and peaceful home setting which the residence halls do not provide due to the thinness of the walls.

I agree that rising juniors should be allowed to live off campus, but it may be best to limit the amount of requests to live off campus so that CNU may still have a strong residential presence. Of course, still proving those with denied requests sufficient housing.

With increasingly larger classes each year, I am beginning to hear more and more similar situations regarding the lack of housing. Clearly there is not enough rooms to reasonably go around, I believe very strongly in this petition.

The housing lottery is an inefficient system. We do not have enough housing available for it to work!

Thank you for doing this. As a parent I feel we were sold a bill of goods about housing at open houses that was totally misleading and am telling other parents of rising high schoolers about theses issues so they are not mislead should they consider CNU

Also, grant housing to those who won't have a place to go home during breaks if parents / guardians are in a process or moving. Instead of forcing those students to stay in East campus dorms alone over breaks

I've been cheated by CNU Housing. If they can't manage their stuff, then don't make us stay on campus!

CNU has WAYS to go in fixing their broken housing system. To expect your students to live 3-4 years on campus without having the means to support those numbers (especially with Class sizes increasing every year) is ridiculous. Give students this choice and stop tripling Freshmen in rooms and forcing Upperclassmen to live in random housing because YOUR administration messed up.

It shouldn't be this difficult to get affordable housing
