Stop Unsafe Development & Preserve Ocean View and Open Space

Strongly advocating against the construction of this home.

One individual's greedy takes so many people's Happiness away. I strongly oppose the construction plan due to safety issues and blocking the beautiful view of our community.

This spot is one of the places that makes San Juan Capistrano special. To obstruct it would be a shame and change my overall view of San Juan.

I’d rather appreciate the ocean view and preserve natures beauty than allow for a monster-sized home to be built.

I am concerned about this 10,000 sq ft residence for many reasons… blocking our community views, traffic concerns, construction etc

This must not happen you will be blocking Views from other home owners that have Family who have lived from generations to Generations and enjoy the ocean views. Do Not Block these homes with bigger home to block these families views. Your opening up a can of worms and pandora’s Box❣️

We spend a lot of time at the benches enjoying the ocean view. Besides blocking the view, the traffic and other activities associated with construction will create a dangerous situation at that location

Why a 5000 sq ft home in a community that homes average 2600 sq ft It’s not just a residence view it is a community view

My husband and I got married at this location after buying our home in 2019, really hoping it stays a part of our community

it is a very giant strange structure.

My family and I absolutely love our community's look-out spot. The ocean view, whether enjoyed while walking or driving, provides serenity. It is a view we appreciate and admire every single day. Allowing one new family to ruin something so special to so many existing families is wrong. The proposed monstrosity, if allowed, would destroy the tranquility and value of the entire community.

The property line is way too big and out of proportion. It's destructive and will affect home values in this whole area.

Stop this non sense

We agree with all the comments made against this project. It is environmentally and esthetically unwise to build such a monstrosity, obstructing views and causing safety concerns.

It workers that the City has it followed its own internal rules for approving such structures, which is extremely disappointing given the size and impact of the project.

A structure this size is environmentally unsound in this location and will adversely contribute to hillside erosion.

I adamantly oppose this project. This will be a disgrace and an embarrassment to our town and community.

We would love to see a park with a play structure and picnic area there for all residents to enjoy the view

The poles depicting wall/fencing of the property is now up. I had no idea how large this property is going to be until now. It is GIGANTIC. Had it already been here when I was looking to buy in this community I would have had serious doubts.

I support this appeal.
