We the people of Zimbabwe demand, without fear or favour that Mugabe must step aside and let progressive minded people with the interests of the people of Zimbabwe at heart, take the reigns of control. We need a leader who can restore some semblance of normalcy by leading a united people to peace, democracy, justice, equality and prosperity for all. Our vision of a prosperous Zimbabwe is one of a Zimbabwe , post the despot Mugabe and his Zanu PF, who continue to loot and rape the motherland, by monopolising wealth and power in the name of 'nationalisation, indigenisation and black empowerment' which have all turned out to be simply, politically correct terms for legalised crime and corruption by Mugabe, ZIM1 family, Zanu PF stalwarts and securocrats. Zimbabwe is treated like a personal Gushungo Holdings farm by Mugabe. The nation is now on the verge of a failed state all because of one man, Robert Mugabe, who has managed to force millions into exile, made millions more destitute in the motherland and encircled himself with a crew of corrupt Zanu PF, criminal officials. We demand the immediate resignation of Zimbabwe's President, Robert Mugabe so that the nation can begin rebuilding our motherland, not for ourselves but for our children and future generations. Occupy Africa Unity Square is a people driven,peaceful initiative that is saying 'Mugabe out!'. We are not going back on our demand and therefore the longer we have a stalemate, the greater the publicity and support generated. Mugabe, act now and step down! Zimbabwe belongs to everyone, black, white, coloured, Ndebele, Shona, any tribe, religion, creed or political orientation, not Gushungo family and cronies. Mugabe out!
