Totally unacceptable. Rates are already unbelievably high and I resent having to consider this proposal of a capital levy especially when we know that our rates will be increased in the near future.

We are already paying extra levies foe electricity we don't receive .
The regular maintenance and repair of roads etc also seems to have significantly deteriorated since the new TWK Council took over.
We need to see where our rates and services charges are going before we consider agreeing to more levies.

Our rates are already ridiculously high, and should be more than enough for infrastructure improvement.

I agree they received more rates for my small cottage than my home in Somerset West and services in Greyton don't warrant it

TWK is 30 bar in arrears, this is not the way to gain it back. Starts off as R20 then each year an excuse to escalate.......

Absolutely ridiculous as to how high TWK tariffs are compared to other municipalities and that’s with restricted services like sewerage trucks not always working in Greyton already!

We have no guarantee that the money will in fact be spent on infrastructure given TWKM's record of financial maladministration and failure to collect monies due.

TWK should be audited to determine the current use of funds ...

TWK should be audited to determine the current use of funds, the failure to ensure appropriate allocation and the failure to provide and execute a suitable capital budget before asking residents to supply additional funds.
