Petition Purpose:

Object to the proposed changes to the Bylaws.


Current Bylaw Section:


 Social Memberships Social Members and their families shall have the use of Club Facilities (excluding the golf course, practice facilities and golf locker rooms) as may be determined by the Board from time to time, provided, however, Social Members shall have the right to play up to eight (8) rounds of golf each year at the golf course accompanied by a Regular Member or a caddy. The Board has the right to sell up to four hundred (400) Social Memberships. Notwithstanding any other provisions herein, the Board shall have the right to issue additional Social Memberships to Surviving Spouses of Regular Members entitled to obtain a Social Membership in accordance with the Membership Documents. Social Memberships shall be non-equity, non-voting and non-transferable memberships. Except as otherwise provided in the Membership Agreement entered into by a Social Member prior to September 1, 2008, the Club has no obligation to refund all or any part of the membership initiation fee paid by a Social Member upon termination of such Social Member's membership.

I really did not think this would gain this much steam when I first typed it out in a total haze of frustration. It is honestly wild to see how many people are feeling the exact same way about these bylaws because it feels like we might actually have a shot at getting someone to listen now.

This is ridiculous. We bought into this community based on the current rules. Stop changing the goalposts.
