As a resident who has seen the damage and disruption of properties used for other purposes in residential areas, and therefore struggling to identify bad characters from honest visitors, I object to this rezoning project

I do not support this rezoning to Residential 4. It is an unfair development to all the residents and home owners in the area.

Our area is an important part of the community, and careless development should not be allowed to continue. So I agree that the project should be halted. Thank you

I object to any plans to rezone Observatory to R4 or land of use consent in line with R4. It doesn’t fit the area and so far it has only created slum conditions like we’ve seen nearby, given the lack of vision for proper housing. Infrastructure is already crumbling; JMPD, SAPS, and Pikitup can’t keep up. The term “backyard dwellings” already shows the slum trend elsewhere, with no intervention despite repeated violations. Densification needs vision, strategy, and proper governance. So for me, that’s an automatic no to such a haphazard application.

There are many properties in the area of a heritage nature and residents look after them at great cost; this development is not consistent with the ambiance of the neighborhood.

We don't want muslims(scum), Jews(scum) & savages (any sub human with darker shade of skin tone) in this neighborhood. Thank you very much.
