We had a great opportunity to attend a bush pilot training course with Sky Africa (based at FABB) before embarking on a self-fly safari in South Africa. We flew to many small airstrips which likely will disappear if this regulation takes effect. The regulation will devastate both SA GA and tourism.

You cannot have considered the adverse impact on tourism! If this passes, I will have no desire to return to South Africa. I'm sure that is true of thousands of pilots like me.

There is no basis on which to require fullfillment of any standards or requirements for airfields that are used by pilots that are responsible by themselves to ascertain suitability and condition of an airfield before the use intended by any means. the liability and responsibility rests with such pilot who is trained and licensed to carry this responsibility and liability. CAA, the commissioner ot government does not need to adopt any responsibility in this regard and as such this piece of. legislation is entirely superfluous and flawed in its intention.
i m suporting the gathering of information on airfields for the purpose of redistribution, but not in connection to any obligation by the airfield owners or operators or pilots or with any cost to these same.
i have invested significant amiunts of money into the creation and maintenance of my airfield 'firolaz' and will hold caa or government liable for full compensation should this investment become invaluated by any pointless legislation, that is not to the benefit of anyone in the industry.

The proposal would sign the death of hundreds of small runways that offer a unique way for thousands of tourists to discover the beauty of South Africa. It is without merit and should not pass into law.

This proposed legislation has no obvious purpose besides making general aviation less accessible with the resultant inevitable decline of this industry. I oppose the propsed legislation in its entirety.

Manned fire and rescue at airports is not necessary as we have the same response for the open roads and freeways. It is a senseless proposal without merit.

Very anoying. Red tape, Red tape, Red tape !!!. Stop bullying the small time aviators. Make flying eazier, not more unachievable and more expesive. Rather help SAA become more viable.
