I cannot see the purpose of persecuting an issue that presents no gain. The loss however would be great to all involved in general aviation.

This would be terrible piece of legislation for all concerned. It would remove taxes from money spent for aviation. It would reduce the ability to get health care and food to remote areas. It would reduce the isolated camps for tourism industry. I'm sure I could sit here and think up many more reasons this should not be passed.

Sad that it has come to this! Bad enough it's an expensive sport now you want to end it all together for us avid and enthusiast airmen! Really sad times ahead!

CAA must look at the bigger picture ! Emergency landings are essential in remote areas and SAPS also require to get close to the anti pouching areas , patients requiring urgent medical attention any run way must be looked at on its own merit and the closest most appropriate run way that meets CAA standards for any emergency landing , today in SA we have the highest pouching taking place on all our national parks so preventing landing with vetianary experts to dart animals and relocating them is of utmost importance , just consider the facts and with an open mind before this law is enforced

beeing in tourism since over 40 years and sending overseas tourists and overseas (germany) private pilots to many lodges with airstrips it is essential for my tourist-business to use these airfields further

Foreign and recreational pilots like me will refrain from visiting and flying in SA in the future if this regulation will become effective.

This will reduce or shut down the majority of recreational aviation... the CAA is supposed to service the industry not actively try and shut it down...
