Objection to Planning Lady Ann Road/Primrose Hill Batley 2017/91851

Please don't let them ruin this beautiful gem of a wildlife haven.

Wildlife should be preserved especially where there are brownfield sites that could be utilised

Think about the wildlife , wouldn't it be easier to renovate house's that are stood empty it's not all about making money for the rich .

Reject this plan for the good of the community.

This land has been rejected several times over the years- same issues as now. Flooding; special species of wildlife habitat; protected trees. These things remain. Additionally, we now are over capacity on roads, with schools and Dr's amenities full. It's despicable that anyone is considering building here and the council needs to serve the existing community and listen to our valid objections by rejecting this.

Serious flooding for years in this area due to the close proximity of the beck. Not to mention the traffic congestion already an issue on Soothill Lane at peak times which already makes it dangerous at the Hick Lane end.

Traffic is terrible around Soothill. More houses means more traffic and access.

They wont listen they never do but im signing anyway

I strongly object to the proposed development of 94 dwellings on the site. As a current resident on Primrose Hill, I am aware that any such building work will have a highly detrimental impact on protected wildlife such as Bats, Great Crested Newts, and Water Voles which have been seen recently. This alone is bad enough but it also means that the impact of so many extra people on the already overstretched and overburdened services will cause untold chaos and may even force somes services to close. The traffic is already virtually gridlocked along Soothill and the junction with Lady Ann Road. 188 potential extra vehicles from the proposed development would be catastrophic and dangerous. The potential for flooding on the proposed site is also a very real possibility as has been seen in the not too distant past. I would urge you to please consider these objections very seriously. Already way too much traffic and thos will just be horrendous.

I live on primrose hill, its a nice peaceful quiet area so building houses here will cause disruption and more traffic. Also, I feel very safe here as where my house is it is difficult to access at the back, this suits me as I feel safe but having houses there will potentially make it more accessible to burglars. I object to these plans and hope someone takes this seriously.

No way can this area cope with so many houses traffic is shocking now without another 100 cars to add to it at peek times and the wildlife will suffer so much from uprooting all the trees and the stream.

Beautiful space for children to play and horses to graze on

i wish to sign this because it will be chaos with traffic . it is the only greenery in batley left it will reduce our house prices more crime in the estate

The proposed housing will have a detrimental effect on the surrounding neighbourhood, with inevitable increased traffic, noise and disruption before, during and after construction. Plus irreversible damage to the natural ecosystem that has established itself over many years. I strongly object to the proposed plans for building on this land.

I object to houses been built on lady Ann road the traffic in soothill lane is terrible and more houses been built will make the problem worse

There are many valid reasons for this planning application to be rejected - damage to wildlife habitat/imposing new builds affecting existing residents etc etc but I just cannot see how this will work from an access point of view. The area around Lady Anne Rd and Soothill lane is extremely congested at the best of times, this proposal will make it nigh on impossible to gain access to this area and will have a major knock on effect to traffic congestion to the wider area. Bad idea!

I strongly object to the planning and building of these 94 homes. Largely due to a handful of factors, namely being- Buildings being erected on field infront of our home which is home to rare and protected wildlife and regularly floods. Access to the plot will increase traffic on Lady Anne Road which is already difficult to negotiate throughout the day due to residents parking. Some of the proposed housing come up to the boundary line of our neighbours which means that for the first time ever, their sunlight and privacy will be compromised.

The loss of green open space with protected wildlife and adding to horrendous traffic conditions is not worth 94 houses, plenty of brownfield sites available

As a former resident and my parents still live on Primrose Hill this proposal is not a good idea for the area not just the impact on the land, and the effects of blocking sunlight from properties on Primrose hill it's the effects on traffic in the Soothill area which is struggling at peak times !!
