SAY NO to Planning Application for DPD Depot centre at the Moorehouse site on A25

Is there not a site on an industrial estate that can be used instead? Increase in road safety issues at the schools in particular Limpsfield C of E infants school. The children have to cross the a25 to reach the golf club car park. At either end of westerham town the road narrows to the point where cars have to stop to let lorries and larger vehicles through. Surely this is not safe.

As an Oxted resident for 26 years, it is clear to me that the development would be inappropriate for the area. I would ask that the right decision in the long-term interest of the communities situated on the A25 between the access junctions to the M25 be made.

Recently moved to the area and this will have a big negative impact on us and the surroundings. Please do not proceed with the depot!!

This is an appropriate site for housing - not a depot with thousands of delivery drops a day. It would only take a site visit to the location to see that.

Please do let the planned for depot go ahead.. the roads simply will not cope!

This planned site and it's impact is totally unacceptable to local residents.

The extra traffic would have an adverse effect on the already crowded A25

The additional traffic pollution would be unacceptable.

This is not an appropriate development as there is already far too much traffic on the A25 and the environment is already polluted by traffic fumes. Account does not appear to have been taken of the additional traffic that will be generated by workers and visitors to the site as there is no reasonable public transport.

The A25 is already frequently solid. The increase in traffic that this proposal would create would hugely devalue properties in the area due to pollution, poor access and noise. NO

The A25 cannot cope with anymore traffic let alone 2000 more trucks and lorries. Please do not let this development go ahead.

Westerham has a long standing severe and well documented problem with choke points and air pollution, all the more concerning given its historic character. It is incredibly insensitive to even consider such a project in an area like this and anomalous to DPD's normal site choices - I understand that this area is not even the first choice for DPD's southern hub.

This planning application should be rejected on the basis of unnecessary congestion and spoiling the environment.

I strongly object this planning application - inappropriate development of a greenbelt site which will have a significant effect on the noise and air pollution not to mention the increased traffic volumes (10 Granville road, oxted, rh80da)

I strongly appose this planning application. In my opinion the road is already heavily congested and unsafe for pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders. My daughter attends limpsfield school which sits right on the A25. The level of noise and air pollution is already high. This is also dangerous for the children crossing the road. The land proposed is also greenbelt - not sure what the point of greenbelt is if the council are happy to build a depot on it. It doesn't suit the area at all and will have a very negative effect. Totally unsustainable in the fact there is no public transport.

My main concern against this application is the increase in traffic that will pass Limpsfield School. I feel we need to consider the increase in pollution as well as the increase in traffic. As well as no traffic calming measures there is also a lack of a lollypop person. Children between the ages of 4 and 7 are crossing this road. Perhaps they could only access/exit via the M25?
