This would be an outrageous development replicating congestion on the M 25 which was constructed to relieve local roads.

Any industrial development on this site would be so inappropriate and so damaging to the precious local Green Belt and AONB environment that it should have been immediately rejected out of hand by Tandridge District Council with absolutely no possibility of any consideration whatsoever.

I also strongly object to this development . The A25 is already a very busy road that carries heavy vehicles. It is frequently congested/ blocked because of school traffic, high population density, goods vehicles and/or as a result of trouble on the M25. It runs through residential areas of people who already suffer. The development would only exacerbate existing congestion problems in these areas.

Living just off the A25 itself, there are already issues with the volume of traffic on this road when there are issue with the M25. It is a crucial road for emergency service vehicles especially for the fire department based on the A25. There is also congestion already on the town centre roads, and fear the lorries are going to create more traffic coming into the town to avoid the lorries. 5 East Hill Court East Hill Oxted Surrey RH8 9AD

why does it need to be built there? we need to look after the countryside and preserve one of the main reasons people live here. Once the land is built on, it isn't coming back and there are other places this can be built. Traffic flow is already too busy

I also strongly object to this development and agree with the comments below. The A25 is already a very busy road that's frequently congested/ blocked because of school traffic, high population density, goods vehicles and/or as a result of trouble on the M25. The built up areas with narrow roads either side of the proposed development reaching both ways beyond Oxted and Limpsfield mean the site is totally unsuitable for this type of business. We all have experience of large and heavy goods vehicles, too wide and totally unsuitable for these roads, already using these inappropriately. This will only exacerbate existing congestion problems in these areas.

The A25 is already a very busy road with a school on the Oxted side of the development and the narrow roads through Westerham on the other side. the arguments for the original refusal still stand and the new application doesn't change anything

I object to the planned development, on the basis of the already unmanageable traffic along the A25, and on the basis of safeguarding the local environment from pollution and urbanisation which would be completely out of character with the local area.

Please stop the approval for this. The traffic is bad enough. As a local resident, we don't want any more HGV's going through our villages!!!
