Objecting the new gate security rule regarding non-dorm female students

I totally disagree and againt this new rule ..

It's not acceptable to be treated as kids . This feels more of a prison rather than a university. We need change.

القوانين بهالجامعة للبنات اكثر ، فيها ظلم غير مباشر ، فيها تشكيك ، رغم رضا الاهل رضا تام ، اسخف شي بتاخذ عليه تصريح ، ابسط حق بتسويه فيه تصريح ومعاناة ، وزوبعه ، كثير مشاكل ماحد بيسمع للطالبات والطلاب ، صوت الطالب مش مسموع ، نحنا مانحتاج مجلس طلبة حتى صوته غير مسموع ، نحتاج لشخص يسمعنا يحل مشاكلنا مو يعقدها ، كل سنة قرار اخس عن الثاني ، وغلاء اكثر من السنة الي طافت ، مصلحتنا كطلبة هي بتطويرنا وبتطوير التعليم وتهيئتنا للعمل والحياة بشكل ادق ، مو تربيتنا ووضع قوانين الاهل ما حطوها لنا ، ياريت يا جامعتي تحطين في بالج اننا جاين نتعلم وبس مو جاييين فرض وصاية على الرايح والراد ، قسم بالله كل شي حطو له قانون، الوقت والمطاعم والمظهر والنقاش والخ .. قانون ، جيبو المسؤول يعيش قوانينه على ارض الواقع اشوف لو بيتحمل ، جيبو الامن يعيشو واقعنا شوي اشوفهم بيتحملون ولا لا ، جيبو مشرفات السكن خلوهم طلبة اشوف ومارسو عليهم كل انواع القوانين وعطوهم قوانين من عندكم وتفلسفو عليهم ، اشوفهم بيتحملون ولا لا ، انا ما اقول غير حسبي على كاتب القانون الظالم ..

We are taught in classes about human rights, yet our basic human and women rights are being violated by our own university. As a legal adult I have the legal right of commuting with whom ever I want and wherever I want without the need of anyone's permission what so ever. The university has no right to forbid me from that as this is a direct violation of my civil rights. Furthermore, since this rule is only applied to the female students at the university while the males are free to do as they please then this is a very bold sexist rule and it discriminates against woman, making us feel humiliated and degraded as we are being treated as immature and irresponsible children who can't be trusted. The sad thing is this rule coming from a university that is highly regarded and is supposed to be a leading example in education, providing its students with a safe and welcoming environment, yet I don't feel safe, I don't feel independent or empowered and I don't feel confident to deal with professional life since I never got to experience any of that in all 4 years I spent here. Day in and day out new rules were implemented that not only were unnecessary but made our campus life more difficult and complicated effecting our learning and education process. Add to that, carpooling should be highly encouraged by our university which offers a program in sustainable energy and promotes a green campus, since more students riding in one car first of all helps with the not enough available car parking problem leading to more students making it on time to class, ultimately this leads to a reduction in traffic jams and fuel consumption, meaning less emissions, if this act is encouraged more than it would help a lot in reducing our carbon foot print making a positive initiative.

It is very unnecessary since as mentioned, some girls come to and leave uni together. Very inconvenient.

Stupid university

I would also recommend if we collect signatures from our parents that they also disagree with this pathetic new rule that brings us centuries back

University life is supposed to be a preparation for the next step, the real world as they say, its where we learn to be independent and responsible, where we develop into functioning members of this society in order for the nation to develop and move forward, but may i ask how are we supposed to learn all of that if we are still being treated as kids? As a building block to this comunity the university should be an example of equality and fair treatment instead of this humiliation and degrading to female students, as well as show some respect to basic human rights that are supposed to be protected by the laws of this country!

What is the big deal with having my friend with me in the car! It isn’t like I kidnapped her! She might have needed a ride? Maybe we’re going out for fun? What’s the problem? Why do we all have to face punishment when a few people do some sort of mistake?!

we can't even go from medical to w with our friends instead of waiting the bus why is that its not possible to bring our parents for signing a paper to allow my friend to drop me in the college

It not fair to give all the rights for boys just becuse they boys !!! and let's the girl suffering from the illogical and arbitrary rules
