My family trusted me to study abroad, and I'm living outside the uni. No one is responsible for me except my family. Sometimes there are situations where I can't drive my car, so what should I do if my family are living outside the UAE !!!!!!!!!!

With all my respect this rule is absolutely non sense Girls in uni are mature enough and they know what is best for them .. we are well raised and educated . what if something urgent happened and her family cant come . Or she missed the bus Or she doesn't own a car and her family is busy What if they want to have lunch in a proper place .. cause there is nothing good in this university to eat . Be considerate please .. treat us like human beings Thank you

This university shows us everyday how sexist it is by applying new rules ONLY FOR FEMALE STUDENTS that are so disrespectful for us and clearly don’t serve the majority. Every female student who doesn’t live in uos jail (dorms) has the right to go out whenever she wants to. I refuse to follow this rule

It really annoying and I feel that my basic rights are disrupted. I am grown up enough to choose where and when and with whom am going . It not their responsibility to direct me

It is unfair of how this is only implemented to girls and we don't even live in dorms. I already have consent from my parents and that is what matters. Furthermore, this new rule is diminishing women's right on how to be independent.

This rule is OFFENSIVE ! What if my car got damaged suddenly and I had to come with someone else until it’s fixed ! It is not school anymore and we are not miners , we are responsible of our own actions .

We say that we have moved forward and sexism is no longer an issue but obviously when our university decided to bring forward the new gate rules and how they are only targeted towards female students, then our university is not taking into account all the humiliation we are going through whole our male colleagues are treated with respect. I refuse to follow such rules

This is really upsetting how our university is becoming too extra day by day. The fact about boy and girl in a car is understandable but girl and girl it’s too extra.

This is seriously the most inconvenient thing the university could do to us and in no way does it serve us or does us any good, I can never concentrate in any late midterm/exam or any late classes in fear that I will miss the last bus, and more often than not I do actually miss the bus, so what am I to do then if I can't even go home with friend that is my neighbor. Ignoring the fact that these new rules degrades us as women, and ignoring the fact that this system only proves just how far sexism can go, but the university is supposed to be a place where I am supposed to grow into the adult I am meant to be, how can I grow and mature if the university is constantly treating my sex as an underage child with no way to think independently or make any sort of decisions, we are adults who are studying professions that require trust, but my university does not trust me enough to leave home with a friend why? i fail to understand how this system will in any way benefit me, only ways that will cause severe inconveniences. There are thousands of girls in this university meaning so many different situations and different cases, it's EXTREMELY impractical to apply a rule to all those girls with different situations at home, not all the girls have parents to pick them up from the university, not all girls have fathers in the country or not all girls have mothers who are free enough to leave their work to sign a paper to allow their daughter to go home with a friend, not all girls have older brothers, this rule is simply not practicle, girls are constantly going in and out of the security's offices to discuss how their father/mother simply can not come in person to sign this paper, it is impossible for them, what should they do ? whats the solution for them? how should they go home if the buses were not an option? and all of this is happening in the middle of out midterms. I respect all of the university's rules, and i fully understand how every rule comes to benefit us but this
