Tradition should mean everything to a school district. I’m sure there are other things the school board could deal with. Not this.

If the School Board is is in the process of changing the Highlander logo into the hideous one proposed without public input, then all decisions they make with taxpayer dollars should be questioned! This looks like a very bad joke being played on the school district to cause embarrassment! Stop the idiocy!

As a member of the class of 82, I don’t like the new machine. I think it should be left alone. Why do we keep trying to change history and symbols

As a former teacher and a 1968 graduate of Canon McMillan, I vehemently oppose changing the CM logo. In a time when teachers are under appreciated and disrespected, in a time of school shootings and insecurities, we need a constant and that is a logo that evokes pride in our long-standing tradition.
Don’t take this away from us. Use our tax dollars for what they are intended, the education of our students.

Tho not an alumni I know many. I've lived her since 91 prior to that half my time spent here at my grandparents. I watch another when they were discussing this n they showed the emblem. There's no pride in the new one but tradition n pride in the "old" one. There should have been a public vote in the community. This in my op is a waste of taxes.

Do branding companies tend to do favors or give perks to organizations like schools in return for doing business?

Either those who want to change the Big Mac logo never heard the saying “if it’s not broke don’t fix it” or they’ve heard the saying and are doing what they damn well please.

I believe in tradition! The new mascot is ugly and I can't imagine anyone wanting it on T-shirts, etc.
