Object to 36 unit Apartment Complex in Star

Please find another place for this apartment complex.

Build the housing somewhere else, off of a main street and somewhere better for their community

Please give us all plenty of notice if you intend to approve this project. That way we can all have to time to sell our homes and move out of Star to another Treasure Valley community.

The daily vehicle count from Star Road through Celestial Village streets is already unreasonable. When we built our retirement home in March of 2005, there was no access to Pinewood Lakes through Celestial Village, Since access was given to Pinewood Lakes via West Andromeda Street the traffic count has multiplied more then 10 fold. The speeding is far above the 20 MPH allowed. If this project is allowed there will be another 10 fold increase in the vehicles using West Andromeda as access to get to this project. Maybe Celestial Village will have to apply for a Gated Entry on both the East and West sides of our development to stop this dangerous practice.

SHAME ON Star's leadership for even considering this project.

I object. A commercial business would better serve my community and provide tax revenue as well. Low income properties bring crime and new service needs that would degrade our unique hometown of Star feeling.

I am strongly opposed to the proposed 36 unit apartment complex being proposed adjacent/in to the Pinewood Lakes sub-division. Commercial use would serve the Star community far better for this property at 11735 W. State St. in Star.

I object to the development of an apartment complex in front of the Pinewood Lakes and Reserve subdivisions.

I am definitely against the development of the 36 unit apartment community to be built at 11735 W State Street, Star ID. This property in my opinion should be for commercial use. Why would the Star community consider a housing project for less fortunate income families to be built adjacent to a main highway there must be a better location in the Star community for such a residential project other than on a main highway which at some future time will likely be expanded to four traffic lanes. I believe this community can and should do better.
