This plan is ludicrous - why would low income people be housed in a community that has no public transportation to take them in and out of our town for jobs and there are no jobs within our city limits. This is only going to create people who have little means for making money an no chance of bettering their lives

I believe that the downtown corridor should be reserved for commercial development (stores and resrmtaurants) and not an apartment complex.

I strongly oppose this development. I request The C1 code be change for the city of star, to allow mixed use, and or commercial only to be built on C1 zoned property. Mixed use would include ground floor businesses, with adequate parking, and tenant housing or condos built on 2nd levels. This would not include HUD low income residential housing only built in C1 zones.

I moved to Star to get away from this kind development. High density low income housing had a serious negative effect on the quality of life in my former home town. So much so that ALL the council members who approved high density projects were voted out of office. Low density housing and limited commercial development are the appropriate development for Star. If this is approved, it will open the doors for another and another. I will vote against any council member who lacks the courage and foresight to oppose this.

This idea is very short - sighted for the future of Star. We don't have the infrastructure, the jobs or the transportation. Likewise, the entrance to the city should be inviting with quality businesses, not laundry hanging from the balcony. If the feds have anything to do with it, regulation or otherwise, it will be filled with desperate refugees from radical areas. Read the news lately? Seems rape and violent crime are following these programs in foreign nations. Slovenia closed it's doors just yesterday. Germany, France and UK are reeling in trying to deal with it, AND Obama's looking for places to plant 200,000 of these folks. Read my lips...NOT ONLY NO, BUT HE'LL NO!
