Right outside a kids play park I think it’s a Bad idea to be selling alcohol. I’ve got a 5 year old so this is important.

This is just immoral and unfair.

There are already plenty of places for people to buy alchohol. Absolutely no need for shops like this in new residential areas to be selling it, especially when new residents have already been told that it would not be allowed. There are lots of young families in the area, they should not have to put up with the negative consequences of alcohol being available so close to home.

My niece and her young family moved to a new house close by which they bought after assurances there would be no alcohol sold at shops near the playpark. Please ensure her children are not put at risk from alcohol sales here.

I have friends with small children that moved to area because of policy. It's the kind of policy that should be rolled out more and not abandoned.

My family moved away from the area we both grew up in in the East End of Glasgow to get away from the local alcohol prevalence between pubs/off-licences and takeaway shops and would be shocked and disappointed if my friends (who will have researched and clarified this before committing to buy in a new build area) are to be disappointed by a reversal in the commitment that was made to them before they purchased in the area. Societal alcohol in the west of Scotland is responsible for a lot of issues - these families have invested in the area on the assurance of the council that no alcohol will be for sale locally, particularly around their children-friendly areas -please do not let them down :o(

There is no need in a built up residential area to have this license and the upset for those who literally live next door. Disgusting that it is even being considered

There is no need for this shop to sell alcohol across from the park. There are already alternative options. Social responsibility over profit please.

Can't there be one tiny section of Glasgow without somewhere to buy alcohol within a 2 minute walk? This new community needs a grocery shop, a newsagent, it does not need alcohol sales. It seems like many of the residents (my sister and brother in law included) bought their homes on the understanding there would not be alcohol sold, so the demand isn't from the local residents. As this is right across from the park it seems like you could end up turning a park for young families into a hangout for drunk teenagers, which would be awful. I know my nephew loves the park and I would hate for him to no longer be able to enjoy it.

No this shouldn't be happening, my son and daughter in-law purchased a family home there with their two young children. Toddler and baby and love playing at their local park. This would make the area unsafe for them and their welfare and safety is one of the reasons for buying there home as they were garentee this would not be allowed in the area. Very unhappy grandparents! Stop this now.

I object to the issue of premises licence as it is right opposite to the children play area. Amar Kumar 37 Logan gardens Oatlands, Glasgow

Not giving licence will help to reduce nuisance caused by antisocial elements at night

I object to an alcohol licence. There are other shops with the license close enough at a Ballater St.
