Although I only attended Oxford for a little under a month, I feel that I have experienced enough of the culure to speak for everyone. But first, allow me to explain exactly why I left. You see, Oxford Academy's biggest flaw is all of the distractions to a student's learning environment. You name it, shorts that aren't knee length, black sweaters, shoes that aren't in the Oxford approved colors! After experiencing these atrocities and much more, I decided my education could not suffer any longer and so I transfered to the much more superior school, Whitney. Although my allegiances have shifted, I still write this in support of Oxford. You see, a flood caused by rain is just as detrimental to the learning environment as black sweaters, shorts that aren't knee length, etc. So to prevent Oxford Academy from losing anymore valuable students such myself for similar reasons, they should cancel school tomorrow on January 23, 2017. Thank you.

“The main purpose of the American school is to provide for the fullest possible development of each learner for living morally, creatively, and productively in a democratic society.” When I am walking through puddles in my brand new sketchers, the water soaks into my feet and I spend the entire day with squeaky shoes! Also, when the rain pours on my head, my brain cells gradually die one-by-one and I need all the brain cells that I can get.
