This latest policy is in bad faith contrasted with dedicated work done even as front line health workers. 1199 should step in.

I had to leave when my daughter was in accident. I also had to leave when my niece was dying. I am human and compassion integrity I thought NYU was about that. I know the CEO MR Grossman dont think that way.

This policy is unfair to union members. NYU says their policies are for all NYU employees including management but anyone who's not a union member isn't held to to the same standards. Management calls out "working from home" and are late all the time and are not written up or penalized unless they want to "get rid" of each other. These guidelines are ridiculous! Counting 1 lateness equivalent to an entire absence? Counting if you get sick at work or have an emergency and must leave work an occurrence and subjected to discipline if it happens 2xs in 2 lengths and so on and so forth!? Where's the compassion!?

NYU continues to "let them eat cake" in a culture that brags about their "excellent patient care", "world class service" and "living the frame", but lacks the compassion and true leadership to their own employees. This policy is punitive, counter productive to good morale, and completely disconnected with the current circumstances that hospital workers have endured since the covid pandemic swept the world in April 2020.

Thais policy is very unfair and inhumane. If an employee gets sick or has an unexpected event, it’s not humanly correct to have an employ stay at work. Would it be fair and safe for the safety of the employees and patients ?

This new policy is unreasonable during a pandemic where families are having a difficult time financially, mentally, physically and emotionally. This shows shows no compassion for the employees who are at risk coming to work everyday and coming home to families putting them at risk as well.
Enough is enough!!!
Some people make it bad forother
