Nys grandfather law to individuals over 18 years old before 11/13/19

The age to buy tobacco products changing to 21 is bs. Just another big tobacco scheme so people smoke cigarettes again

You can die for your country at 17 why cant you smoke at 17?

I turned 20 the day before this law went into effect. So I get to buy products for 2 years and then go exactly one year without? it doesn’t make sense you can serve your country at this age but not buy tobacco products. I agree with upping the age 100% but I DO think a grandfather law should also occur for the ones who have already been able to purchase.

I feel if we were 18 before the date the law changed we should be able to still buy products containing nicotine. I have been 18 for almost a year I will be 19 in December and have been buying products since my 18th birthday I feel if we could buy them before this law passed we should be able to now.

As a Marine corps veteran, I signed my life to the government for 4 years, I see no reason why an 18 year old can’t buy tobacco if he/she so pleases

This is soooooooooo stupid I can sign up to die for my country but can’t smoke a cigarette or have a beer

This should be made a law because the people that have waited to be 18 to buy tobacco get punished for the people that abused it

I belive this should happen because it’s not fair to the people who have been waiting to turn 18 to buy these products now we can’t bc the new law that just changed I’m 19 and now I can’t buy vape juice or anything bc I’m not 21 like I already waited to be 18 I’m not waiting another two years

i’m not even addicted to nicotine but now o can’t even go into smoke shops to get cbd products for my health, despite being 19.

Those over 18 should be able to still buy tobacco products

I feel this should be placed in effect

They need to let people who were 18 prior to November 13, 2019 be grandfathered in!

Awesome petition it’s definitely not fair to us over 18 to have this ripped away from us.

Nys sucks ass

If 18 year olds can serve our country then they should still have the right to purchase tobacco products and even alcohol. If not raise the age to join the military to serve our country to 21 as well
