I’m old enough to die in your military for this country but I’m not old enough to buy a pack of cigarettes. What batter In the government is gonna swing at that pitch?

Regardless kids are going to get what they need. It’s ridiculous that we had to wait so long to buy the things we need and now we have to wait again? Insane.

It’s honestly stupid, i don’t even smoke but if someone wants tobacco they’re going to find a way to get it anyways and there’s not a huge difference between 18 and 21.

I feel the grandfather law should take effect. It’s not fair to the people that were 18 before this law to have this taken away from them.

If I can sign my life away at 18 to the military why take away the right to smoke

I've been smoking now for about a year or two. Sure it's not the healthiest addiction; however, that is my freewill working at hand. With the age limit being raised think about what that would do to the economy.

By increasing the age limit and not grandfathering-in those who were previously of the legal age to smoke tobacco and use tobacco products, the State of New York has forfeited its right to any income via tax dollars that the citizens who were legally purchasing tobacco would have paid to them. Now, previous users might opt to buy tobacco on the black market and not pay taxes--which would have otherwise been used for State funds. Bad move; very bad move.

This should go into effect. If you can serve the country at 18 and be charged as an adult you should be able to buy nicotine and actually alcohol. If you cant do that then you shouldnt be aloud to serve your country untiil 21yrs of age either.

There is no reason we should have rights taken away from us that we have already been given by reaching the age requirements in the past.

I beleive if u can fight for your country at 18 you should be able to buy cigarette/tabacoo products and alcohol.

It should be back to 18 years old. I'm 20 and I have to wait 6 months to get smokes again when I was allowed 2 weeks ago.
