Nys grandfather law to individuals over 18 years old before 11/13/19

I’m 20 shy of 21 by 49 days. Should be able to buy cigs since I have been since the day I turned 18.

People who have already been buying tobacco for two years now shouldn’t have to sneak around to get tobacco. The age at the time of our being 18 it was legal to purchase tobacco it’s not appropriate to take that right away

This is ridiculous. I’ve been a smoker for 7 years and while understanding it’s a bad and damaging habit, I should not lose my right to purchase because of new laws.

Would be great to smoke on break during work, I'm 19 graduated come on.
