Nys grandfather law to individuals over 18 years old before 11/13/19

The Age 18 can get you killed for servicing Our Country but not able to buy a Celebratory Cigar or Smoke cigarettes if they so choose to while they are Being Shot at Defending Our Freedom.

It is ridiculous to not. People have been smoking and now you’re taking that right away

This is not fair and unjust to those who have addictions

I would like to keep my rights. I have smoked for almost 2-1/ years and now I will have to wait a year to smoke again? Ridiculous it’s my choice as an ADULT

If any of these people understood addiction they would know this is causing more hurt than anything. This may have good intentions behind it but you’re not taking the right approach.

Why would you make this law it's so dumb and you're losing money

Addiction is real and very hard to control when you're just cut off from it after so long of doing it.. this is going to hurt people more than it helps..

If we had a nicotine addiction when apon turning 18 before said date and the law changes what is one supposed to do to get nicotine.

I honestly think there shpuld have been a grandfather clause in this law to begin with how is it you let these 18 year olds buy cigarettes and then change the laws so they can no longer get them but you can give safe spaces to heroin addicts come on now

I’ve been buying wraps since I was 13, but the point is everybody should be educated on the effects and be given the freedom of choice wether they buy such products or not.

I think it should be passed.

im 19 and feel if we can go fight for our country we should be able to buy cigarettes.

Just seems stupid to one's who are 20 yrs old n can't buy there cigs. Again u can vote, u can die for ur country but u can not buy ur own cigs. This should have been grandfathered in for the people over 18..

I can enter the US military, but I can’t buy a pack of cigarettes..
