Nys grandfather law to individuals over 18 years old before 11/13/19

I’ve waited my years n done my time, I shouldn’t have to have freedom taken away because other people are abusing it , it’s simply not fair to any of the 2001 generation.

I find it ridiculous that this law had changed. how can something be legal in one state but not in another, yet both states are in the country which is supposedly United. an 18 year old can die for America but can't even buy a can of chewing tobacco if they want it ? figure that out .

Should be legal for people over 18 before the new law came

When the alcohol law went from 18 to 21 in 1986 everyone was grandfathered in, this should be the same case

Yeah kinda think this should happen cause my daughter just turned 20 in September she has been legal for 3 years and now she can’t buy them anymore

We were already given these rights. To take them away seems unfair.

I’ve smoked cigars for a year now and im 18. I know why they did it, cause of people buying them for underage kids and this law won’t stop that. I never bought and never will for underage so this grandfather clause should go into effect

I am 20 and can’t buy a pack of smokes after a long day of work it is horse crap. There are praise younger that can no longer buy them now that we’re the old legal age we should all be grandfathered in there’s no reason we shouldn’t be.

I understand the desire to keep tobacco and e cigarettes out of the hands of the younger generation, but I feel as though people who have been using this product for a while now shouldn’t have this taken away from us because we’ve already gotten to the age of use.
