Nys grandfather law to individuals over 18 years old before 11/13/19

I feel that they should put the grandfather law for 18+ because regardless what they change the age limit to people will still buy other people cigarettes so people who have been 18 or just turned 18 you should give them the right to smoke if you can fight for our country at 18 you should be able too smoke a cigarette at the age of 18

How can you let somebody buy nicotine products after they turned 18, but when the age goes up to 21, just take it away from them? How is that even fair?

I understand the reasoning but I am a 20 year old with my own jobs my own place, my own bills, why can’t i now buy my own cigarettes? Iv had a right since I was 18, and now it gets changed? Grandfathering individuals that have already been 18, will make things way easier, and be easier on cashiers too.

I’m 20 years old and would like to be able to legally buy products I’ve been able to comfortably purchase for the last 2 years.
