Nys grandfather law to individuals over 18 years old before 11/13/19

I have been buying cigarettes since I was 18. I am 20 now. I have followed the law and should not be punished just because immature teenagers are not following the law.

If they are 18 leave them alone they are old enough to buy them nys laws are getting a little crazy

I need to buy myself and my crippled uncle cigarettes. I’ve been going to the store for him since I was 18. I can go to war and smoke cigs at war but can’t enjoy a cigarette at home.

If your old enough to risk your life for our country you should be old enough to use tobacco products

It only makes sense. If somebody is 20 already has been buying these things for 2 years and now has to wait another year because they’re “too young” ... defeats the point of the whole thing.

We should be grandfathered in if we are 18 before the law changed to 21.

And the 18 year olds before the law had changed. They don’t only sell tobacco but CBD products which helps with my anxiety.

I think this law is ridiculous when your 18 yrs of age you are a adult

i'm supposed to vote at 18 and i can join the army and get my whole leg blown off at 18, but here i am at 19 not even allowed to smoke a cigarette when just a year ago i was allowed to.

This is not fair for anyone who has already been smoking but are stuck between the awkward ages of 18-21
