Nys grandfather law to individuals over 18 years old before 11/13/19

This needs to be done ...... it’s unfair that they were old enough and now they aren’t

Most of us have been smokin since before we where 18 an I might be 21 now but once ur 18 u can go to prison so y can’t u have a cigarette government can put u In jail but u can’t choose to smoke even tho it’s your owe body

Don’t take my rights away when I’ve been smoking for years and all of a sudden you just say it’s 21 now that’s rediculous

I'm a little over 20 and this sucks

With this new change it’s just gonna make everything else much more worse than what is was and I think the people that were 18 before the change should be grandfathered in

This is absolutely ridiculous as an adult as of 18 you should be able to purchase this and it never should’ve gone into effect to be 21 to buy tobacco products it won’t do any good considering most will still have a way to get them by having somebody who is 21 and up

If you can serve your country at 18 then you should be able to come home and have a beer or a smoke

We should not have a right taken after we were given it.

If NYS considers you an adult at 18,why can’t we but our own Juul products or anything? If this state believes we’re old enough to pay taxes from the time we start working until we die we should be old enough to buy nicotine products

I believe that if you were legal at one point, you should become illegal one day.

i believe it is unfair that NY state is stopping people who have been buying nicotine products legally for at least 2 years , and then completely pulling it away from them . nicotine is an addictive chemical and people are going to have wothdrawls , which could more than likely start violence . there should be a grandfather law for people who were 18 years of age before this law was passed .

Pisses me off

I think the law being 21 and over is a little too much when majority of the kids underage who smoke will still find a way to get them... at 18 you're an adult capable of making your own decisions, including smoking.

If an 18 year old can go and enlist to the army, live through horrendous hell to protect our country for enemies foreign and domestic then they should be able to buy tobacco products
